When FastForward tries to forward using a rule/or manually, I get a message saying “Forwarding Failed”. How do I resolve?

This is most likely due to FastForward not being configured properly for your wireless service provider’s network. While FastForward tries to automatically configure itself for your service provider, it does not always get it right. This is because not all wireless service providers use the same call forwarding codes.

In FastForward’s Settings window, please make sure the following is true:

  1. Include Number in Teardown: Unchecked
  2. Prompt When Forwarding: Unchecked

If your BlackBerry connects to a GSM/GPRS/EDGE network, make sure that the following is true:

  1. Enable Suffix:#
  2. Disable Suffix:#

and try some of the following Enable/Disable Prefix settings:

  1. **21*/##21
  2. *21*/##21
  3. **002*/##002
  4. *002*/##002
  5. **004*/##004
  6. *004*/##004

If your BlackBerry connects to a CDMA/1X/EVDO network, make sure that the following is true:

  1. Enable Suffix:
  2. Disable Suffix:

and try some of the following Enable/Disable Prefix settings:

  1. *72/*73
  2. *72/*720

If none of the above help, please consult with your wireless service provider and/or try other settings such as those mentioned in the very informative resource “Wikipedia - Call Forwarding“.

I cannot get FastForward to work on a BlackBerry Model 7100i, 7510 or 7520. Does FastForward support iDEN/Mike BlackBerry Handhelds?

BlackBerry Models like the 7100i, 7510 and 7520 are not supported. We are hoping to change this in a future release.
